Rose Essential Oil
(diluted fractionated coconut oil)
Rose Essential Oil Profile: Roses have often been called the “queen of flowers”. Since ancient times, the rose has inspired reverence and wonder. Rose was probably the first floral essence distilled. The rich aroma is sensuous and can be infatuating. Production of rose essential oil is very tedious and costly. Flowers are picked in the early morning to ensure the brightest fragrance. Approximately 30 flowers are needed to make one drop of the oil. To put it in perspective, over two tons of roses are distilled to make a single pound of rose essential oil.
